Gott mit uns – a powerful German slogan symbolizing faith and nationalism in Prussian and German military history, worn on belt buckles by soldiers, later adopted by the Wehrmacht. It was discontinued after 1945, in the aftermath of the American and Soviet occupation of Germany.
