At Sunwheel Shop, we are committed to providing reliable and efficient delivery options for all our customers, both locally and internationally. Our goal is to ensure that your order reaches you as quickly and safely as possible, regardless of your location.

🛠️ Order Processing

All orders are processed at our Budapest-based workshop within 24 hours of receipt (on business days). This is when your order enters production or packaging, depending on whether the item is custom-made or ready to ship.

🌍 International Shipping & Couriers

Once your order has been dispatched, it is initially handled by Magyar Posta (Hungarian Post) up to the point of departure from Budapest International Airport. After unloading at the destination country’s airport, your package is transferred to a local courier service or national postal provider for final delivery.

Depending on your shipping address, region, and package size or weight, we may use a variety of international and domestic logistics partners to ensure the best possible service. These may include:

  • FedEx
  • UPS
  • GLS
  • ExpressOne
  • DHL (on special request)
  • Local postal services or pickup lockers

Courier selection is automatic, based on destination, chosen shipping method, and real-time logistics data. While we strive to offer flexibility, we are unable to accept courier preferences unless prior written agreement is made.

📬 Delivery Conditions

  • Shipments are delivered on weekdays during standard business hours (usually 8 AM – 5 PM local time).
  • If the courier is unable to deliver (e.g., no one is home), the package is redirected to the nearest local post office or pickup point, and a delivery notice or email/SMS is sent.
  • In some countries, Saturday delivery may be available, subject to local courier policy.
  • For locker or parcel point delivery, you will receive electronic updates, including a PIN or QR code for retrieval once the package is placed.
  • Delivery times vary by region but are typically:
    • 1–3 business days within Hungary
    • 3–7 business days within the EU
    • 7–14 business days worldwide

💸 Shipping Costs & Discounts

  • We do not charge any packaging or handling fees. You only pay for shipping.
  • The delivery fee is calculated at checkout based on:
    • Destination country
    • Shipping method selected
    • Package size and weight
  • Volume-based shipping discounts may be automatically applied in your cart.
  • You can find region-specific shipping rates and delivery details by clicking the destination region names in the footer of our website.

✈️ Customs, VAT & Import Duties

For orders shipped outside the European Union, customs clearance procedures and import duties/VAT may apply. These are determined by your local authorities and are not included in our prices. Customers are responsible for these fees upon delivery.

🔄 Tracking & Notifications

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. Status updates are provided throughout transit. If you selected a shipping method with full tracking, you will be able to monitor progress from dispatch to delivery.

🛑 Undeliverable Shipments

Please ensure that the delivery address you provide is complete and correct. Packages returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses may incur additional shipping charges if redelivery is requested.
